Never Shake a Baby!
Never shake a baby
Do you know why you should never shake your baby?
It is never okay to shake your baby. Shaking your little one may lead to a syndrome name “shaken baby syndrome”. You must not put your baby in charge of someone who might lose control.
What is shaken Baby syndrome?
It takes place when a miniature/baby is shaken joyfully. Even though you are not aware of it, this effect can harm your baby and can include lifelong injury. This syndrome can also destroy a child's brain cells and prevents his or her brain from getting enough oxygen resulting to further physical damages.
You may think that you are playing with your baby, but that tiny thing that you do can cause damage to you your child’s brain, Permanent disabilities (like blindness or paralysis or even death etcetera).
It may take only 1-2 shake to cause severe damage. This is because babies are very fragile at their toddler stage, they tend to have relatively big heavy heads and weak neck muscles. When they are shaken, the brain slams back and forth inside the skull, resulting in bleeding around the brain and damage to the brain itself. Some babies may even stop breathing, which can cause further brain damage. Hence, we need to be extra cautious with them, as their stage.
How will you actually understand whether your baby is facing shaken Baby syndrome or not?
