Everyday sunscreen lotion works by blocking and absorbing UV rays through a combination of physical and chemical particles.
We all know that the sun produces ultraviolet (UV) radiation that can harm the skin.
It is composed of particles that physically bounce radiation off the skin and react with UVA and UVB rays.
A combination of absorbing and blocking the UV radiation is specially important by combatting both UVB and UVA rays.
The main cause of sunburn and skin cancer is UVB radiation.
On the other hand, UVA rays penetrate more deeply into the skin.
And were once thought to be the only reason behind skin ageing and wrinkling.
But some recent research has confirmed that UVA rays also play a significant role in the development of skin cancer and other skin diseases.
