কোরবানি আল্লাহ সুবহানাহু ওয়া তায়ালার প্রতি ভক্তি, ত্যাগ এবং আনুগত্যের প্রতীক। এটি হজরত ইব্রাহিম (আ.)-এর আনুগত্যের সর্বোচ্চ কাজটিকে স্মরণ করে যখন তিনি তার প্রিয় পুত্র ইসমাইল (আ.)-কে বিশ্বাসের পরীক্ষা হিসেবে উৎসর্গ করতে অগ্রসর হয়েছিলেন। আল্লাহ তার অসীম রহমতে কুরবানীর মাধ্যম হিসেবে ইসমাইল (আ.)-কে একটি মেষ দিয়ে প্রতিস্থাপন করেন। কোরবানি আমাদের নবী ইব্রাহিমের অটল বিশ্বাস এবং আল্লাহর ইচ্ছার কাছে আত্মসমর্পণের গুরুত্বের কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয়।
১. একটি পশু নির্বাচন করুন: কুরবানীর জন্য একটি সুস্থ এবং যোগ্য পশু নির্বাচন করুন, যেমন একটি ছাগল, ভেড়া, গরু বা উট। পশু কোরবানির জন্য ন্যূনতম বয়স এবং শারীরিক চাহিদা পূরণ করে তা নিশ্চিত করুন।
২. নিয়ত ও প্রস্তুতি: কুরবানীর প্রকৃত আমলের পূর্বে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্য আন্তরিক নিয়ত করুন এবং ওযু করে নিজেকে পবিত্র করুন। পরিচ্ছন্ন ও শালীন পোশাক পরুন।
৩. তাকবীর: "আল্লাহু আকবার, আল্লাহু আকবার, লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ, আল্লাহু আকবার, আল্লাহু আকবার, ওয়া লিল্লাহি আল-হামদ" (আল্লাহ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ, আল্লাহ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ, ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই) বলে তাকবীর পাঠ করে শুরু করুন। আল্লাহ, আল্লাহ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ, আল্লাহ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ এবং সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর জন্য)।
৪. কোরবানি: পশুটিকে আপনার সামনে রেখে আল্লাহর নাম পাঠ করুন এবং পশুটিকে আরামদায়ক অবস্থানে রাখুন। কিবলার দিকে মুখ করে দ্রুত ও করুণার সাথে গলা ও এয়ার পাইপ কেটে পশু জবাই করা। ইসলামী নির্দেশিকা এবং নীতিগুলি অনুসরণ করে একটি দ্রুত এবং মানবিক জবাই নিশ্চিত করা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ৷
৫. মাংস বিতরণ: কোরবানির পরে মাংস তিনটি ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়: একটি ব্যক্তিগত ভোগের জন্য, একটি পরিবার এবং বন্ধুদের জন্য এবং একটি হতভাগ্য ও অভাবীদের জন্য। অন্যদের সাথে মাংস ভাগ করে নেওয়া, বিশেষ করে যাদের প্রয়োজন, কুরবানীর একটি মৌলিক দিক এবং এটি সহানুভূতি ও উদারতা প্রচার করে।
৬. কৃতজ্ঞতা এবং প্রার্থনা: পরিশেষে, আপনাকে এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ইবাদতটি পূরণ করার অনুমতি দেওয়ার জন্য আল্লাহর কাছে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করুন। আপনার এবং আপনার প্রিয়জনদের জন্য তাঁর ক্ষমা, আশীর্বাদ এবং করুণার জন্য প্রার্থনা করুন।
